Creative. Strategic. Results-Driven.
Hi, I’m Malcolm. My marketing journey began in 2013 when I used social media to promote my professional hairstyling side business. What started as a creative hustle evolved into a passion for digital strategy, storytelling, and audience engagement.
I recently earned my Google Digital Marketing and E-Commerce Professional Certificate, reinforcing my hands-on experience with formal training in SEO, analytics, content creation, and paid media.
Over the past four years, I’ve worked closely with brands such as Something Black Made (SBM) , Grandryze Productions — a culture-forward brand that allowed me to refine my skills in brand storytelling, social trend research, platform algorithm navigation, and community-focused campaigns. Through this work, I’ve helped build a powerful digital presence and contributed to content that inspires, informs, and connects.

Let’s connect and explore how I can help amplify your brand, project, or business through meaningful digital marketing.
I create to drive originality,
and I market to drive positive change.
I’ve always loved to create. That passion was sparked early when my mom bought me my first pair of clippers because we couldn’t afford haircuts. At the time, haircuts meant everything to me as a teenager. I didn’t want to just blend in, I wanted to feel seen.
My friends at school quickly noticed the intricate designs I started carving into my own cuts. Back in the early 2000s, designs were a thing. And I needed all the cool points I could get. I was tired of being known as “the Black guy with the weird accent.” That first set of clippers became my chance to be known as “the cool dude with the fresh cuts.” Ironically, I ended up being known as “the guy giving free fades in the bathroom during lunch.” Definitely not the brand I was aiming for, but it was the beginning of something bigger.
That passion eventually turned into a full hairstyling business. I’ve always believed that every client who sits in the chair brings a unique story, and it’s my job to help them express it. I began creating signature designs, something that made people feel good, confident, and different. That same energy fuels my work in marketing today.
Great marketing is rooted in curiosity and communication. Curiosity drives you to explore new ideas, understand perspectives, and push creative boundaries. For me, marketing is just another way to create something meaningful, something that connects, resonates, and leaves an impression. Whether it’s behind the clippers or behind the camera, my goal is always the same: inspire originality and spark positive emotion through creativity.
